This page tells you a little bit about my senior year!
This year I hope to stay consistent with my hard work ethic and maintain a happy balance between my personal goals and education goals. CIBACS is a huge focus for me right now and I strive to be successful in it. I have committed to California State University Fullerton and have decided to major in English with hopes to become a high school English teacher. I am very excited and hopeful for the future to come!

The trip to New York was something everyone in CIBACS looked forward to for four years straight. It is a huge reward and privilege we got to have. We had planned and thought about how fun it would be for so long and since we made it to our senior year in CIBACS, we all got to go together in our senior class! One of the students in our CIBACS class, Dain Hewlett, planned this trip as her project. It was such an amazing experience and a few of my favorite things we did was getting to see the musical Hamilton on Broadway, getting to see the NYSE, the 9/11 memorial and museum, and seeing the statue of liberty. Getting to experience these things as such a large group was such an amazing opportunity that we absolutely enjoyed to the fullest!

The Future...
I have always planned on going straight to a four-year after graduating high school. As college acceptances were coming out and I got accepted into CSUF I knew that would be the perfect school for me. I am now fully committed to California State University Fullerton! I plan on majoring in English because I am hoping to become a high school English teacher in the future. The English teachers apart of the CIBACS program have really inspired my dream of perusing this profession. I have gotten an amazing opportunity to be taught by them and I am very excited and hopeful for the future!
